Contact
Dr Cubbin will see patients for the assessment of all general psychiatric conditions. An initial assessment lasts one hour. Follow up appointments are 30 minutes. Adult ADHD assessments take longer. Please contact us for details and prices. She is approved as a provider of psychiatric services by all major insurers including Bupa, Standard Life, WPA, Cigna.
Assessment of Adult ADHD
Assessment is via a well researched protocol using Conners, Barkley, Wender-Utah and the Adult ADHD Self Report Screening Scales. This is followed by a semi-structured interview with you and, where possible, a family member who knew you in childhood, ideally a parent. Identifying other psychiatric conditions (such as anxiety, depression or substance misuse,) that may need treatment in their own right, is also given priority. A report will be written and copies forwarded to yourself and the referring doctor.
